Merry Christmas!

So we debated whether or not to get her picture taken with Santa since she is only 3 weeks old, but I couldn't resist! Isn't she adorable in her matching santa outfit? Unlike her mom, she was asleep in Santa's arms until we woke her up. For those of you who did not know me as a child, in almost every picture with Santa I was crying. We hope everyone has a very happy holiday and a wonderful new year.

Just thought I would share this picture. It was taken the day before Kylie was born! I went to work to visit the girls for lunch and Tiffany suggested I take another belly picture since it could have been the last. It is a good thing I let her take the picture!

She has arrived!!

On November 25, 2007 10:47 pm Kylie Leigh Wells became a full fledged member of our happy household. She was no longer a curiousity and happy discussion of what will be, she was our little girl, an actuality. She is everything we could have ever hoped for and more. She was born 7 lbs 3 oz., and was 20 inches long.
Mom was amazing through the whole process, she technincally went into labor at 4 am that morning. It was easy labor and the contractions were not coming in frequent intervals and or consistent strength. We waited about 5 hours before we decided we needed to go to the hospital. Good thing we went because we were there for about an hour before her water broke. Once the water breaks the doctor basically says you have 24 hours until they go in after her. That afternoon the doctors decided to assist in the labor process which increased the strength and frequency of the contractions but did not regulate them time wise. As the day wore on the doctor's began to mention C-section more and more. Just after we received notification that we were getting close to the pushing point the doctor's decided that a C-section would be necessary.
Well Mom and Kylie came through very well thanks to our wonderful doctor's, and here are some pictures to prove it.

At home in her bouncer just hanging out
Mom and baby going home, couldn't be happier

This is Mom's idea, I have to admit she looks pretty darn cute

Kylie saying Grandpa dresses me better than Dad does. It is harder than one would think.

Not sure who was more tired Mom or baby. Either way aren't they cute.

Our little girl resting comfortably, yes those are Mom and Dad's feet.

Grandma and baby together.

You ever tried to swaddle a baby, than keep your comments to yourself.

Second family portrait

Daddy finally meets his little girl
Mommy still could find time and energy to give her little baby love despite what was going on behind the blue curtain.

First family portrait and single most beautiful moment of my life.

World meet our Kylie
